Simon Coupe, LLB (Hons), is a highly qualified expert in family law with considerable experience involving both married and cohabiting couples and particularly financial issues and equitable interest cases, including one decided in the Court of Appeal, which is a quoted case in this area of law.
Simon is an Advanced Member of the Law Society Family Law Panel and Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association). He is also a member of the Legal Service Commission Appeals Committee and formerly a Senior Peer Reviewer. He has been recognised in the Good Lawyer Guide for outstanding legal practice.
Simon qualified as a solicitor in 1977 at the University of Wales, Cardiff. He is a past president of the Blackpool and Fylde Law Society and is currently the Society’s treasurer.
Away from the office Simon enjoys sport. Having represented Surrey and the University of Wales at hockey. He now plays golf and is a member of Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club. He is also a keen artist, particularly portraiture.
